Motherboard issue: 3ds will run ONLY when squeezed

I'm thinking this is either a grounding issue, or possibly the sensor responsible for knowing if the system is secured is faulty. It could even be a screw that won't screw all the way in any longer...
For whatever reason, this motherboard will only turn on and run while the bottom left is squeezed. I replace the motherboard with another one that didn't have this issue, and I wouldn't have to squeeze it, so I KNOW this motherboard is causing the issue.
Has anyone experienced this or have any solutions to offer?
