# ensure the charger cords has no kinks or tears, then plug into an outlet with power.
# Check the chargers power supply box(if it has one), usually has a light(green LED) to tell you it's powered on and in working condition.
# Ensure that inside the charging port on PC is clean and not broken.
# Make sure battery is connected.
# Plug it in and it should work.

Let me know if that helped, and I used to tug on my charging cord all the time years ago. That inevitably broke the port inside the computer to charge it and like an idiot I threw the entire laptop out. Now I know I can take it apart and at least rig it(if not replace the broken spot) I DO NOT RECOMEND unless you know what you are doing.

Anyways best of luck, computers are fragile and taking care of them is important.
