Best to use either an independently powered hub or Drive/s. What I prefer is use the other sides port for the mouse using a [link|https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/adafruit-industries-llc/5030/14617347?|USB A SOCKET TO USB TYPE C PLUG] to plug the dongle into. You can also find a short cable unit as well so it doesn’t stick out as far.
