I would start off using a better tool than what Apple offers which can allow you better insight on what’s happening. Install this gem of an App [https://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/|CoconutBattery], take a snapshot of the Apps main window and post it here so we can see it. Then we should be able to identify what’s going on.
