iMac A1224. Early 2008
I am trying to replace the DVD with an SSD
The enclosures on sale have the wrong connector to connect with the iMac lead in the machine
I think the SSD enclosure I bought has an SSD fitting on the front edge. I think I need an enclosure with a different type of fitting on the outside to connect with the internal lead. Could this be an ATA or a PATA (I'm not sure.
Has anyone had the same problem and overcome it please?
