Internal keyboard and trackpad freezing up after a few minutes

Hi,
-5 months ago I spilled liquid on my macbook. I took it to a repair shop and they cleaned it out and got it working again. A couple weeks ago I was moving a ton of pictures over to my computer and I left it for a bit to do it’s thing. When I came back it was super hot and loud fan sound. I turned it off. Since then my trackpad and keyboard will stop working after a few minutes of it being on. After they stop working if I let the computer sit for 20 minutes or so and turn it back on they will work for a few minutes and the freeze up again. Today I tried a test where I turned it on and did some things and after some minutes it froze. I let it sit for 20 minutes and then turned it back on and did nothing, just left the screen on and after a few minutes it froze. External mouse and keyboard still works. I’ve read a ton of posts on replacing the cable or the power supply but none of these posts had a liquid spill. I’m hoping maybe I can just replace one of those and it would be good but wanted to check with you all. I really like this computer and would love to try to save it. Thanks!!
