Often I find the trackpad cable to the logic board is not properly seated or is damaged. Review this guide [guide|15388] jump down to Step 23. Make sure the cable is square in the socket and the clamp is folded down as it’s pressure is what makes the connection. Post some pics of the connection if you are still having problems so we can see things.
