Very sluggish! And trackpad & keyboard stopped working
crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:
I have the exact same issue on my MacBook pro 13” early 2015.
I tried the following with no luck
* resetting smc, nvram
* Safe mode
* Fresh install of macos
* Removed the screen and webcam and speakers connectors(ive read somewhere that it might be an issue withe webcam)
* Apple diagnostics shows no issues
* Removing the battery altogether
.
It is worth mentioning that A while ago the battery started misbehaving and i noticed some corrosion on the battery connectors (on the battery small board) so i completely removed the battery.
The trackpad and keyboard stopped working at that time as well, so i replaced the flex cable and it is up and working again.
——————-
using TG Pro i can see all sensors showing “normal temperature” around 45 degrees C but the mac is still running really slow. (The a activity monitor shows 75% cpu usage by the system)
Any ideas what could be the issue ? Or what else i can check ?
Thanks

I also tried formatting the disk and installed a fresh macos but that did not solve the issue.
