Ouch! His looks like the display assembly was damaged in its removal. Don’t feel bad I messed up a few times before we collectively knew how to do it and had access to the magic pizza cutter tool.
For now you’ll need to connect an external display to see how things look there. Or, if you have a second Mac and can connect it either via a peer connection accessing the systems Remote Desktop or drive via Target Disk so you can focus in on what is working still.
