Is a sticker on the top speaker grill behind a new Pixel 3a display?

After replacing my Pixel 3a screen and battery I have a distorted buzzing sound in my top speaker. I wasn't sure when applying the screen whether the speaker grill had a plastic sticker on the back of it or not, so I left it alone. Now I've come to think that maybe there ''was'' a plastic sticker on the back of the speaker grill that is now vibrating to create the distorted sound. Can anyone confirm or deny this plastic sticker being present on the part or not, or could this be a different issue?
Thanks in advance to any leads. I really don't want to remove the screen again until I know for sure, because it was pretty difficult the first time, and everything else is working, so I don't want to mess with it.
