Device not closing all the way after screen replacement

Heyo
Recently replaced my device's screen after accidentally breaking the cables when replacing the battery (ooooopsies |:-/ ). Anyway, now the device won't close all the way. I don't get that nice crunch when trying to close it up. It slides in fine, but it doesn't actually attach itself. Any suggestions?
