Black screen, but can still access the main IOS screen.

Like i said in the title, the problem I’m having with my IPad Air 2 is that when I turn it off for a bit more than 10 seconds and power back on, the screen is completely black, even with charge, ( example: [link|https://youtu.be/MIOqlPQZlwo|YouTube video|new_window=true]) but the good thing is that the backlight turns on and I can access the main IOS screen. Not rebooting or anything else solved the problem. (A similar thing happened to my grandmother but her module was a IPad Pro(I’m not entirely sure)). My suspicion is that it’s something to do with a connector to the screen being loose. But one solution is to turn it on and then off repeatedly (and that’s just too annoying, I’ve spend at least 5 minutes doing that to SOME success). So please, if anyone out there can figure out this problem, I would be very pleased to take your advice. (P.S I don’t have a local Apple repair shop, the nearest one is in Tennessee.)
