This problem bugged the !&&* out of me, even on low volume everything sounded distorted. So I decided to open up my 2019 Macbook Pro 16” to see if I could maybe take out any dents in the speakers, because replacing is a horrible and expensive task.
When opening the macbook I found out on both of the speakers there was some metal shavings stuck to the speakers (they are very magnetic)
I removed those and quite a lot of the problem went away, but the buzzing was still there in one speakers.[br]

Turns out some of the metal punched a little hole in the left speakers. I put a little piece of tape on the hole, now it’s gone, or at least on a very manageable level.[br]
