The fan running hard is a sign SMC going into a Safe mode making sure your system doesn’t overheat.

This is a symptom of a logic board in trouble! It will need a deeper investigation. I would locate an independent Mac repair shop as they often have the deeper skills too fix your logic board vs Apple would would just replace it at a high cost.
