It depends on the model. In some models the port is soldered to the main logic board and in others it's on a separate daughter board. Call around your local repair shops to get some estimates. If it is soldered to the board, I recommend you contact either iPad Rehab, STS Telecom, Rossmann Repair, or VCC Board Repair and they should be able to give you an estimate.
