+Keyboard cable and screws question A1229

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Hi people,

In reference to this guide, on a Macbook Pro A1229: [guide|317|MacBook Pro 17" Models A1151 A1212 A1229 and A1261 Keyboard Replacement - iFixit Repair Guide] , I have the following issues:

1) When I reattach the keyboard cable, it seems somewhat wriggly. Is that normal?

2) The two torx-screws in the RAM-compartment have gone missing. Will it be ok to run the computer without those two, or should I try and get replacements before powering on?

Thanks!
