I got a new Mac Mini 2020 (i7, 8GB RAM, 2TB Storage) and tried to upgrade the RAM to max it out.

First I tried HyperX Impact DDR4 2666 Hz 32GB x2, but the Mac won’t boot. The light turned on but nothing on the screen. After a short while the fan suddenly went up to make a big noise very shortly, and then the noise and the light went out.

I then tried Corsair DDR4 2666 Hz 32GB x2, still the same problem.

I tried these SO-DIMMs in another laptop and turned out the SO-DIMMs themselves were all fine.
But if I put the original 4GB x2 back into the system, the Mac can boot and enter the system without any problems at all.

Hello to iFixit community.
I got a new Mac Mini 2020 (i7, 8GB RAM, 2TB Storage) and tried to upgrade the RAM to max it out.
First I tried HyperX Impact DDR4 2666Hz 32GB*2, but the Mac cannot boot. the light turned on but nothing on the scree. After a short while the fan suddenly went up to make a big noise very shortly, and then the noise and the light went out.
Then I tried Corsair DDR4 2666Hz 32GB*2, still the same problem.
I tried these RAMs in another laptop and turned out the RAMs themselves were all fine.
But if I put the original 4GB*2 back to the system, the Mac can boot and enter the system without any problems at all.
Does anyone have any thought on this issue?
Thank you a lot!
