Phone screen intense bright light until pressed

Recently my phone screen started behaving weird. It would flicker to a bright mode when I touched the screen in a specific spot. Now it is in the bright mode most of the time until I press firmly down on the screen? has something inside the display assembly come loose? Booting into safe mode has not solved the issue, Also tried the factory reset and still not luck. Thinking it is probably a hardware issue now. Attached a video for reference
