Your system does come with a HDMI port which you can connect a HDMI connected display. The other alternative is connect a second Mac via Ethernet between the two systems and then use Remote Desktop to then run your apps via the other Mac. Basically, running it headless. Thats what I do to manage my Mac Mini as a media server. Here I run iTunes to download and mange my music, video and podcast media.
