Hi,
The 13” Unibody MacBook Pro’s are more or less same structurally, with mostly small spec bumps between years.
HDD drive cables often fail due to a kink around optical drive, cables being upgraded in 2011 and beef up further in 2012 model years.
I have a problematic cable in a 2009 model, while replacing it should I use a “newer” model years cable? Would that fit and work, would it be better, durability wise?
