I purchased this at a yard sale for 5 dollars and was told the charger port is irreparably damaged by the people in the local repair shop. I came here to figure out how to fix it. Googling it did nothing. I have yet to open it up.
So far the only thing i know is that it doesn’t charge.
Is there any way to repair or replace the port and if so what tools would I need? I already bought a Mako screwdriver set and am ready to try whatever. Preferable I would like to replace the busted port with a type C port or another common charging cable type.
