@ Do you have access to a external monitor which you can plug into your system so we can see if the display has failed. The other direction is to take a flashlight resting on the display as t sharp angle to see if you can make out the faint image of your desktop icons. If you can then you know the displays backlight has failed. If you can’t you can have a bad dedicated GPU board.

The next test I would try is to see if your system can get into Target Disk Mode. Restart your system and hold the ‘‘‘T’’’ key are you able to see the FireWire Icon on the screen? If not your logic board has an issue
