Lost volume on my Home iW3, how to fix it?

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

So, one day boom, sound faint. Have to put my ear up against the speaker to hear anything. iHome customer support is useless. They don’t even have a repair manual i can download. I took it apart and saw 2 capacitors that apparently leaked on the board. So I ordered two with the same 50w 5.6uF. They came in considerably smaller than the original but was assured by Mouser that they would work. Long story, short. These did not fix the problem. I have no metering equipment so cannot “TEST” other components but nothing else seems burnt or “fried”. I am at a loss. Don’t want to throw it away. It still looks good, charges, and connects to my iPhone. anybody have a clue? I can take a picture of the board if that would help.
