Lumix DMC TZ7 Panasonic camera
I really need a bit of help and guidance please guys as receiving mixed feedback.
I’m a long, long way from camera expert but I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ7, which worked absolutely fine in its Underwater housing until someone decided not to close the housing properly, allowed some water in (not full).
The camera LCD screen now does not work - black screen. Camera starts fine, lens pops out and it takes pics and video - just can’t see anything on the screen at all. I can see the blind footage from the memory card. I have given the camera the ‘dry’ treatment etc to try ‘dry’ it out, to no avail.
I’ve read an LCD screen replacement is a potential solution. Now this is where my expertise really shows.
Do I buy a backlight LCD replacement screen or a No backlight replacement screen? Where do I find this information out and how do I know what I need lol? Yep, my experise is really that good!
I would really appreciate some expert advice and guidance if anyone has any please.
