I’ve been asking a lot of questions here lately, sorry for clogging up the system!
I’ve been pondering what to do with this iMac, make it a monitor for my MacBook Pro or totally max it out and make it somewhat usable in 2018/19. I know it’s almost the end of the line for this iMac but I want to get at least a few more years of work out of it before it’s obsolete.
I just wanted to know if it’s possible to upgrade the GFX card, and if it’s possible to do that what is the highest you can go for a GFX card spec-wise?
Another question I have is what is the highest you can go CPU-wise? It appears that I have a 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU right now. I’ve seen threads here asking if a Core 2 Extreme '''QX9300''' processor would work but there was not definitive yes or no answer to this question.
