Reading about successful replacements of HDs in an mbp of 2011 or 2012, I wonder if a Samsung SSD EVO 860 of 1TB would work fine on a mbp of mid 2010? (I already replaced the original HD with an SSD EVO 840 of 500GB a few years ago; that went smoothly; but now running again against storage limits, whilst the mbp still performing nicely, I’m considering an upgrade to 1TB.) Probably for sure the SATA cable to replace? Any experience out there?
