I am a bit confused. You unplugged one side and whatever side was left dispalyed perfect. This goes for both sides. What I mean is left connected right is not, left side displays perfect. Right side connected Left side is not, right side display perfect. If so then we at least know that your panel is okay. You do want to check the individual ribbon cables that go from the T-con board to the panel. Make sure there are no issues with the cables. Yes, this could be a T-con issue but I would not rule out a bad main board either.

+@itxi if the T-con board is truly okay than the issue is your panel. The panel has a driver board which is mounted to it and you would have to get to it first by pretty much removing the panel. (the 2 cables from the T-con board actually connect to that). That board is part of the panel and has something called source drive ICs that may have failed. Here couple of images that show t-con board errors.
