While the Boom 2 is waterproof for a splash or quick dip into a puddle when the USB/Mini jack cap is fully seated. It still is not designed to be submersible! I’m sure you got water inside.

You’ll need to open it up to inspect things and even still once you do it won’t be waterproof any more and won’t look all that pretty either ;-{ Here’s the IFIXIT guide to get to the speakers: [guide|103684] you’ll need to look on Amazon or eBay to find a replacement. You might think about just buying a new one given how cheap you can find them used or even new!
