I have an M4405 Power Mac G3 300 Minitower that I'm looking to restore. The computer was outside for a long time, and a large portion of the computer is rusty and corroded. The outside of the power supply is fairly rusty, and I'm a bit too scared to try to open it up and clean the inside or outside of it, and I get the impression that it would be a bad idea anyway to try to use a 20+ year old power supply in a computer. I was wondering if there were any alternative power supplies I could buy for this computer, as the original 661-1496 or API-6120 one is very expensive and hard to find. Apologies if this is an obvious question, I'm used to laptops and don't know much about standardized desktop parts. Thanks!
Since it seems like I might be updating this a lot, I'm putting all my pictures into an album so this page isn't so crowded.
