Well the video's you've found are for the older non-retina models which us a spinning hard drive. Unlike them your system uses a solid state SSD which plugs directly onto the logic board (no ribbon cable)

Sadly, it sounds like your SSD drive has died. At this point you'll need to replace it with a new drive.
