Shielding is tricky!
It's not just the computer you need to worry about. There are many places the noise can leak out of. The USB-C connectors bonding to the cable, the cable its self and the bonding at the far end HDMI connector. Don't forget! The HDMI connection side is also exposed! Here the same holds true to the back of the display and then you need to consider the displays shielding and its effective grounding at the outlet. We also forgot about the power side of the MacBook! Is the power adapter effectively grounded at the outlet. Hopefully they share the same outlet as the display.
The problem is you need to create a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faraday_cage|Faraday Cage] that is tight enough the high frequencies don't leak out.

Sadly, we don't have a very good set of images of the USB port assembly in the new MacBook Pro 15" Touch Bar models. Here's a set of images from the 13" model which is exactly the same design:

I don't see enough here to tell how the connector is mating with the outer shell of the cable end (shield). Clearly the metal case has a tight fit around the connector.
