One of the problems you face here is this phone is technically a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_market|Grey Market] device which puts you in a bad place.
As the Phone was sold here in the states you would need to travel here (or a friend) to then show up at the carrier store front it was bought from to then hand over the phone.
