I have a mac mini late 2012 - model MD387LL/A with the i5, not the fusion drive one. Can I use an m2 or msata ssd in this, or should I use a regular 2.5" ssd? Already have one of those ready to use (2.5" samsung evo ssd), just would like to know if it's possible to also or instead use an m2 ssd. Have gotten extra ram to upgrade that from 4 to 16 gb, and want to upgrade/change out the 500 gb 5400 rpm hd that came with it to an ssd. It's running rather slow and frequently hangs, drags or freezes. Also has Mavericks osx, would like to know if it's worth it to upgrade to el capitan, have seen lots of negative comments about that newest osx, and don't want to upgrade if it's not worth it. Thanks for any help.
