To test things out carefully disconnect your internal keyboard/trackpad ribbon cable following this IFIXIT guide: [guide|27662|MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2014 Logic Board Replacement] disconnect the battery following the first steps, stopping at Step 4. Then jump down to Step 24 to disconnect the keyboard/trackpad cable.

Be gentle as you can easily damage the connector as well as the ribbon cable here. I use some electrical tape folded over to make a pull tab to help me pulling the ribbon out as well as pushing it in. With the cable disconnected plug your battery back in and connect an external USB keyboard & mouse as well as your MagSafe power adapter.

Are your able to start your system now? If not you have more issues here.
