The first thing I would do is see if the simple stuff fixes your problem:
- Clean the MagSafe connectors system and charger with Isopropyl alcohol with a cotton swab.
- You should try a second charger to be sure here.

- Open the system up and look for any water damage. You may want to go though the process of taking the Left I/O board out (Fair warning here its a bit of work) looking on the underside of any damage.
