-Sam is partially right, on newer Macs u MUST give it to an Apple Technician (like me) and we MUST do a chat with our second level support, they will send us a file to put on a right formatted pen drive that will erase the password. This is the only way and... there are no connector on the logic board to do this on the mbp 13 early 11.
