Logic Board Upgrade, MBP 13" mid-2010 to MBP 13" mid-2012

Hi all,
I am wanting to upgrade the logic board on my MacBook Pro 13" (Mid-2010) with the one from the MacBook Pro 13" (Mid-2012). Both laptops have the same model number (A1278). By upgrading, I wish to increase the processor speed, maximum RAM, graphics capabilities, thunderbolt and have USB3.0 capabilities.
Essentially I want to put in this:
[product|IF163-044]
(although I'd try to find the i7 2.9GHz model)
And remove this:
[product|IF163-020]
Does anyone know if this upgrade would be possible? Would the new board fit correctly into my old MBP body (screw placement etc)? Will all the other connections will be the same (LCD, Battery, Fan, SuperDrive etc etc) or will I need adapters/converters. If so, it wouldn't be worth it. But If the two boards are directly interchangeable without any serious problems, this could be a nice upgrade and would breathe a few more years of life into my laptop!
Thanks in advance for help!
