Kindle 10 Low Battery Symbol

If your Kindle 10's battery symbol appears as empty or close to empty, even if you currently have a full battery, follow this troubleshooting guide.

Make sure to restart your kindle to ensure that there isn't a fluke with its software. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds, then tap “screen off” when it appears.

Tap the home button, then tap the 3 dots icon in the upper right hand corner. Tap settings and proceed to device options. Tap advanced options and then tap “update your kindle”. If the option is grayed out then you're on the latest update.
