Is your Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 WP-580 nozzle leaking? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
Loose Reservoir
To ensure the best operation the tight connectivity of each of the parts has been engineered for the best possible fit. To ensure the continued usage of the device, ensure that the clear reservoir located at the bottom is tightly impacted on the rest of the device.
Warn Parts
Due to general wear over time, each part of the device may be subject to breakdown and eventual failure of the part which can easily be remedied by inspecting each part of the device closely and locating and replacing anything unacceptable with the continued usage of the device.
Damaged Seals
The rubber seals around the valve begin to wear down over time thus leading to leakage of water from the valve. To check if this is the case, first, you should fill the valve with water and check around the seals to see if water is coming out of the rubber. If there is, you should order a replacement valve from the Waterpik website. You can follow the guide titled “Replacement of the Reservoir Valve” to see how to replace the reservoir valve by yourself.
Water Left in Reservoir
To ensure proper operation of the device it is imperative to not leave water in the device for extended periods, not only can this damage and wear the device out faster than anticipated, it can also lead to adverse health repercussions. After use remove any liquid from the entire reservoir to ensure no leaks or adverse effects will take place.
