Are your Tozo HT2 headphones refusing to connect to Bluetooth, or connecting but there's no audio when connected? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
Battery Is Low
Ensure that all devices have an adequate charge to them before use and attempting to connect to Bluetooth. If the battery is dead or has a very low charge the device may refuse to connect.
Not Connecting to Your Device
Before trying any other solution, if the battery is charged then see if the problem may be your device. Try to connect your headphones to another device and if that works then see the troubleshooting page for your specific device. If your headphones refuse to connect to another device then see below for possible solutions to the problem.
Device Not Connected to Bluetooth
- Go into your device settings and search "Bluetooth" in the search bar.
- Check that your Tozo Headphones are turned on, usually indicated by a blinking LED light and sound
- Connect device to Bluetooth
- For iPhone: Scroll to the bottom of your Bluetooth list to the heading labeled "Other Devices" and chose the device titled "Tozo HT2" and click the device to connect to your phone's Bluetooth.
- For Android/Google: Press the button tagged as "Pair new device" and wait for the "Tozo HT2" headphones to show up. Press on the headphone label and wait for the device to connect.
Connected But Device Is Not Working
- Go into your Bluetooth settings and select your device
- Select the button that says “Forgot Device” or anything similar to this
- Make sure that your headphones are off
- Wait at least one minute and then reconnect the headphones to your device
- If the previous steps fail then restart your paring device while headphones are turned off. Turn paring device on first then headphones, making sure Bluetooth is active.
Outdated Software
If you have tried all the suggested steps to no avail, your device might need an updated or fixed OS. Your device may need to be updated or hard reset, depending on which issue.
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Turn on your Tozo device and hold down the plus and minus button for 8 seconds to fully reset device.
- Go on the Tozo mobile app and check for device updates. For a successful OS update, ensure that your device is fully charged or at least 50% charged.
- Once completed, attempt to reconnect.
