Is your TopTro TR25 unusually hot and/or shuts off on its own? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
External Temperature may be elevated
Typically, projectors of any kind operate better in air-conditioned rooms. If the temperature of the room exceeds 95-degree Fahrenheit (35 degree Celsius), projectors overheat more frequently. A solution would be to lower the room temperature to between 68-degree Fahrenheit to 77 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius).
Blockage of the dust filter / vent
Anything could hinder the airflow in the projector which could cause overheating. Your best bet would be to check if there is any dirt, dust, large build-up etc., in the vent or dust filter. If there is any, it can be most likely removed using a basic air duster or other cleaning options such as a dry towel. Replace the dust filter if needed.
The fan is moving slowly or not at all
First, check the fan see if there is anything blocking the fan. If there is blockage, remove the blockage. After the blockage is clear and the fan still isn't working, it could be broken and just needs to be replaced.
