After starting your Shark Rocket HV322 , is it failing to suck up debris through the intake unit or nozzle connected to the hose? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
Dust Cup Needs to be Emptied
Clean the dust cup by emptying the internal debris into the trash. If there is anything too large stuck in the debris screen, you may need to reach into the dust cup and clean it. Be sure to close the duct cup, reattach the unit, and check suction.
Blockage in the Wand, Hose, and Nozzle
Disconnect the hose from the wand and the wand from the nozzle, so you have three separate parts. Inspect each part for large blockage or excess debris. Attach in the same order you took apart and check suction.
Filter Needs to be Cleaned/Replaced
Remove air filter from entire unit. Remove any debris over the trash. Put filter back into unit, reattach filter cover, and check suction.
Debris Caught in Brush Roll
Lay vacuum down so the underside of the underside of the intake port (where your brush roll is) is visible. Check for long, tangled hairs as well as large debris stuck in this area. Once completely cleaned, flip over and check suction.
