Audio Distortion
You have trouble listening to sounds on your computer.
Loose Headphone Jack
Test the audio through the built-in laptop speakers, then test it again using external headphones. If the audio is only distorted while listening through the headphones, this can be due to either a faulty audio jack or the headphones themselves. If the audio cuts in and out, this is often a sign of a loose audio jack. Check to make sure the audio jack is fully connected to the laptop.
Missing/Corrupt Driver
If the audio sound is distorted when listening through the laptop’s built-in speakers, the audio driver may be corrupt or missing. Click this link and download the zip file containing the latest version of the driver. Next, Go to Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Sound Controllers. Click on your sound card and click “Update driver.” Select your updated driver, then restart the computer.
Faulty Speakers
If the speakers intermittently fail to produce sound or do not produce sound at all, the integrated speakers may be defective or broken. Follow the first steps in this guide to open the laptop and check the connection between the speakers and the motherboard. Then, if the speaker cables are connected properly and the error is still occurring, continue following the guide to replace the speakers entirely.
Battery Fails To Hold Charge
The battery will not charge or will not hold a charge without being plugged in.
Faulty Adapter
Check to make sure the power adapter is plugged in the wall. then, make sure the light indicator on the adapter is on. If the adapter is connected to the laptop, and light is not on, the adapter is faulty. Look into buying a new adapter.
Dead Battery
If the adapter is plugged in and the LED indicator on the adapter is on, make sure the adapter is connected to the laptop. If the laptop only boots up when the adapter is connected, then the battery is failing and needs replacement.
Cannot Connect to Wireless Internet
You are not able to connect to the internet wirelessly.
Wireless Card Is Disabled
If you are unable to connect to any wireless networks, your wireless card may be disabled. Go to Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center. On the left, select “change adapter settings.” Right click on the wireless adapter and select “Enable.”
Outdated/Corrupt Driver

If you are still unable to connect to any wireless networks, the wireless card may be broken or defective. You can use this guide to replace it.

Hard Drive Error
If you are not able to start the computer without receiving an error message, some or all of the operating system files on the hard drive may be missing or corrupt. To fix the error, obtain a USB copy of the operating system you are using; either Windows XP or Windows 7. Boot from the USB and choose "Repair your computer," then click "Next." On this screen, pick “Startup Repair” and let it run. Then, your Samsung NP-N210-JA02US should boot correctly.
Broken/Defective Hard Drive
If your computer won't boot or you hear a clicking sound within the computer when you power it on, the hard drive may be failing. This can happen when the user drops the laptop causing the moving parts of the hard drive to break. To resolve this issue, consider buying a replacement hard drive and install it using this guide. Then, purchase a new copy of Windows and transfer it to a USB to load onto the new hard drive. After the operating system has been loaded, your Samsung NP-N210-JA02US should boot correctly.
