Galaxy Won't Turn On
"No matter what you do, you can't get the phone to turn on"
Battery is Dead
If your phone does not turn on, it is possible that the battery is dead. If this is the case, then charge the battery and try again. If your phone still does not turn on, then you may have to replace your battery.
Bad Power Adapter
If if appears that your battery is not charging properly and your phone will not turn on after recharging, you may have a bad power adapter. If this is the case, then you will have to replace the power adapter.
Water Damage
If the battery and the adapter are in fact working properly, and your phone has recently been in moist condition, it is possible, that your phone may have water damage. In this case, you will want to follow the steps to open the the phone case and allow the device to dry out overnight. Note that you do not want to use a hairdryer or leave it out in the sun to dry.
Blank or Damaged Screen
LCD Damage
If there appears to be ink inside the screen resembling dots or lines, then your LCD screen it probably damaged. To fix this problem, you will need to follow the directions in the manual to carefully disassemble the phone and replace the LCD screen.
Broken Backlight
If the screen displays and image but the image is difficult or impossible to see, then the backlight on the screen may be broken. To replace the backlight, follow the directions in the manual to carefully disassemble the phone and replace it.
Motherboard Damage
If the screen is completely blank, it is possible that the motherboard inside the phone is damaged. You will need to check the motherboard by opening the case and following the directions to disassemble the phone. Upon opening the phone, check the logic board for visible damage or loose wires.
Periodically Freezing or Restarting
Battery
If the phone restarts or even powers down on its own, then the battery may be in poor condition or dead therefore, it will need to be recharged or replaced.
Motherboard Damage
If replacing the battery does not fix the issue, it's possible that the motherboard is damaged. Follow the directions to disassemble the phone in order to inspect the motherboard. If severely damaged, then replace this motherboard.

Connectivity Issues
Wi-Fi
When you turn your phone's WiFi on, your phone will automatically search for available WiFi networks and then display them on the screen. Select the WiFi network you wish to connect to. If the network is open, you will automatically connect to it. If the network is secured, then you will need to enter the password in order to connect.
If your phone does not scan for networks automatically, your WiFi may not be turned on. Go to the Notification Panel and select WiFi to turn the WiFi on or off. If your phone still does not show available networks, then there may be none currently available around you.
Data
If you are having Data problems, try turn your phone off and then turn it back on. Otherwise bring your phone in to your service provider or calling your server's help hotline.
Cell Reception
If you are having Cell Reception problems, be sure you are in your cell phone's service provider's coverage zone. Otherwise, try changing location or calling your server's help hotline.
