If your Razer Huntsman Mini's LED lighting will not turn on or is unresponsive, follow these steps to get the LED lighting working.
Software Settings
First, make sure the keyboard is securely connected to your computer. You can also try a different USB port on your computer as well. Furthermore, ensure Razer Synapse is properly installed and updated. Additionally, open the synapse and check the lighting settings for the Huntsman Mini to guarantee they are configured correctly. Finally, try to restart your PC if all else doesn't work.
Razer Synapse Needs to be Reinstalled
Initially, if the LEDs are not working or stuck on a specific color, try exiting Synapse from the system tray. If this does not work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of Synapse. If the current Synapse profile is corrupted, try creating a new profile and editing the lighting effects within the profile settings.
Turn off Dynamic Lighting
If the issues you are experiencing is with the RGB lighting, try to toggle the Chroma RGB option in the Razer Synapse settings and turn off dynamic lighting in the Windows setting. Dynamic Lighting may sometimes override Synapse effects and could be a solution. Lastly, check if a custom or game specific profile are running since some disable lighting.
Keyboard Reset
Some keyboards have a physical reset button or combination of keys (FN+F12) to reset the settings on the keyboard. You could also factory reset the Razer device through Razer Synapse in the settings.
Firmware Out of Date
Make sure the Razer Huntsman Mini's firmware is up to date. Additionally, if none of the steps work above, it is possible that there's a hardware issue with the Razer Huntsman Mini and may need to contact Razer support or consider returning it if you can.
