Is your Ortizan X10 Bluetooth not connecting to a device and it's unresponsive when you press pairing mode button? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
Bluetooth is not Enabled on Device
The speaker is powered on but does not enter pairing mode or does not appear in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Locate the power button on the speaker.
- Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator starts flashing, signaling that the speaker is in pairing mode.
- On your phone, tablet, or other device, go to the Bluetooth setting. Make sure the Bluetooth is turned on.
- In the Bluetooth setting, search for available devices. You should see “Ortizan X10” or a similar name that is listed on the available devices. Tap on the “Ortizan X10” to connect to the speaker.
- Once the device is connected, you should hear a confirmation sound or a notification on your device.
If the power button functions and the device pairs successfully but no confirmation sound is heard, the speaker itself may require replacement.
Device is Out of Range
The speaker does not pair with the device due to being out of Bluetooth range.
- Ensure you have a device that supports Bluetooth connectivity.
- Enable Bluetooth on device.
- The speaker and the device must be within 30ft of each other.
Pairing is not Enabled
The speaker does not appear or fails to connect when attempting to pair it with a Bluetooth device.
- Power on the speaker.
- Enable pairing: Enable pairing by holding the power button down for a couple seconds.
- If the previous step does not work, unpair and forget the speaker on your device Bluetooth settings.
- Try reconnecting the speaker to the device again on your bluetooth settings.
Device is Not Charged
No lights or response from the speaker when attempting to power it on.
- After locating the power button, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the signaling light starts blinking blue.
- If the signaling light does not turn on, charge the speaker by connecting the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker’s charging port and a USB power source such as adapter or a computer. Let it charge for 3 hours, then try powering the device on again.
- If the USB-C charging cable is functional but the power/battery-status light does not turn on at all, there is likely a problem with either the charging port or battery.
Motherboard Failure
The speaker remains unresponsive after attempting the previous troubleshooting steps.
- Locate power button and turn the speaker on.
- Long press the power button for 8 seconds to restore it to its original settings.
- The speaker will turn off, indicating that the factory reset is complete.
- Retry steps 1 through 3.
Should the issue persist after completing all prior steps, a motherboard replacement may be necessary.
