Motor, Blade, or Blade Attachment Refuses to Rotate when Turned On.
You have trouble starting the blender's motor or blade attachments.
Improper Power Cord Connection
The power cord isn't recieving power. Ensure the the power cord is plugged into a working outlet, or a power strip that’s turned on. If power continues to be an issue, check the circuit break or the fuse for that outlet.
Improper Lid Placement
The lid is not properly secured to the pitcher. Securely attach the pitcher lid by verifying the arrows are lined up.
Pitcher or Single Serving Cup Placement
The pitcher or single serve cup isn't correctly placed on the base of the blender. Properly attach either the pitcher or single serve cup onto the motor base. They should rest secure and fit snug.
The Blender Has Had A Power Overload
If the power cut off to the motor while in use and a light begins flashing, the Ninja Ultima BL810 has undergone a power overload. If the power overload light continues to flash, unplug the power cord and wait 15 minutes before reconnecting. If the flashing light has subsided, proceed with blending.
The Blender Has Overheated
If the power cuts off midway through blending, the motor has overheated. Unplug the power cord and wait 15 minutes before reconnecting and continuing to blend.
Food is Not Blended to Desired Consistency.
You are unable to achieve evenly chopped up food when blending.
Not Utilizing The Pulse Function
If the food is not being properly chopped up, meaning that it is chunky, instead of holding the blend button use short pulses to obtain better results.
Can't Get Snow from Ice
You are unable to turn ice into a fine snow.
Wrong Blade Configuration
It is reccomended to use the top stacked blade assembly with the bottom blades in order to achieve snow from ice.
Wrong Speed
To achieve snow use the pulse setting first, then use high speeds (5 to 10 ) to completely turn the ice to snow.
Food Chopped too Finely/too Watery
Your food is chopped too much and has become liquidy or too fine.
Too Much Liquid
Pouring out some of the excess if it is a juicy fruit, or adding more of thee food if the user added too much water.
Wrong Speed/Blade
Use a slower speed, or carefully remove the top blade assembly.
Variable Speed for a Single Serving
You are not able adjust chopping speed for a single serving.
The Single Serving Cup Has One Setting
The ninja blender does not possess the ability to change its speeds with the single serving cup connected to the blender. If it is required to alter the speed of the blender, consider connecting the pitcher to the motor. The pitcher has the ability to change speeds.

The single serve cup is securely attached to the single serve base. Attached this securely to the motor base. Pressed the “Start/Stop/Pulse” toggle. The motor base stops after 2 seconds and power indicator light flashes. Unplug unit and wait 20 minutes.
When I plug in the unit, the indicator light still blinks, the motor base won’t start.
When I try to remove the single serve cup/base from the motor base, it is stuck so hard that I cannot remove it.
What is causing this? I’ve had this unit 3 years and this has never before occurred.
Thank you for your assistance
