Nespresso Vertuo Next Is Not Plugged In
The connection to the wall outlet is interrupted. Ensure that the device is properly plugged into the wall
The Water Tank is Empty
If the water tank is not filled to the appropriate level, fill it to the required level then try the brewing process again. Ideally keep the water level at least half way full so that the machine does not run out of water during the brewing process.
A Pod is Not in the Machine
Ensure that there is a pod inserted in the machine. If there is not, insert it. If there is, ensure it is properly inserted and aligned in the machine. Try again once you have ensured that there is a pod in the machine, attempt to brew coffee again.
The Dispensing Spout is Clogged
First check to see if the spout is blocked from the outside, and clean the exterior of it if necessary. Next run a rinse cycle to properly clean out any debris that may be stuck in the dispensing spout and area. Finally, if neither of these solutions work, use a toothpick to gently dislodge and remove any built up coffee residue.
