Botvac will not charge
The robot will not charge when it is plugged in.
Not Plugged In
Check to make sure that your devices charging cable is properly plugged in to the outlet and to the device. If this is not the case then it will not charge.
Faulty Outlet
Plug a different device into the outlet you're using, if that device does not seem to be receiving power either then the outlet may be faulty and you should plug your robot into another outlet.
Dirty Charge Bar
The charge bar for your device will not work if it is dirty. Wipe down the charging bars on both the robot and the charging station with a dry cloth. Then ensure the area is clear of debris and plug your robot back in.
Faulty Battery
The battery of your device may have degraded after continued use. To replace the battery in this scenario you should need to find and remove the battery door on the bottom of the Botvac, pop out the old batteries, and replace them with new batteries of the same type.

Botvac has erratic navigation
The robot is driving in random directions and bumping into things.
Faulty Sensors
Your device's sensors may be dirty or otherwise unable to properly relay information. Clean the 2 drop sensors and 1 wall sensor on your device using a microfiber towel or a Q-Tip. If the problem persists, clean the Botvac’s main laser at the top of the unit, using a Q-Tip or short bursts of compressed air from about 6 inches away. You may also want to check the device's 4 bumper sensors. Press each one in and release, you should hear 2 clicks as you do this. If one of the bumpers gets stuck press and release it a few times in quick succession in order to free it. If there are still problems try turning the device off and back on and check if the problem persists.
Dirty Wheels
The wheels may be dirty and disrupting the movement. Spin them in order to remove dust and debris.

Lighting Malfunction
the lighting in the room may be interfering with the sensors. Test the device in a room with minimal reflective surfaces and direct sunlight to see if those factors are affecting navigation for the unit.
Botvac will not start
The robot isn't starting or powering on
Dead Battery
The devices battery may not be charged. Put your Botvac into its charging station manually. It may not have been able to get to it by itself.
Obstructed Charging Station
There may be something in the way of the devices charging station. Disconnect your charging station from the wall. Then visually inspect the charging port for any obstructions.
Faulty Battery
The battery of your device may have been damaged or degraded after continued use. To replace the battery in this scenario you should need to find and remove the battery door on the bottom of the Botvac, pop out the old batteries, and replace them with new batteries of the same type.

Wheels will not move
The robot's wheels are not spinning properly
Debris in Wheel
Debris may be stuck in the wheel wells. With your Botvac powered off and turned upside down, visually inspect the wheel wells and attempt to remove any obstructions.
Faulty Motor
The motor in the wheels may be malfunctioning. Try moving both wheels in opposing directions for a couple seconds then swap. Try turning your Botvac back on.

Side Brush is not spinning
The robot's side brush is sluggish or does not move at all
Dirt Buildup
Your Botvac may have a build up of dirt and debris inside, in this case you will need to open it up and clean it out.
Faulty Brush
Remove the brush to clean it and check that the magnet is still in place. Then reinsert the brush and check to see if there is resistance when you spin it manually. Next start a cleaning run to see if the metal peg near the side brush is clean. If the problem persists, turn the device off and back on again and reassess.

Faulty Rubber Ring
The rubber ring within the side brush module may be loose or worn out. If this is the problem you should look into replacing it. Look for a #33 O ring in stores or on Amazon.
