Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 Power Button is Unresponsive
After a crash, the power button may become unresponsive, making it difficult to reset the device or take a screenshot for a period of time, until it eventually resets on its own. Follow these steps to fix an unresponsive power button.
Crashed Software, Restart Required
- Press and hold the volume down button and the power button simultaneously for 10-12 seconds
- You should feel a vibration, and the screen should show the Motorola logo
- If this happens, release the buttons and let the phone restart
Out-dated Software
- Go to Settings > System > System updates.
- Tap Check for update. If an update is available, download and install it.
- Restart the phone after the update is complete.
